National Affiliation: National Club Baseball Association Division II
Conference Affiliation: District VIII North - Rocky Mountain Division
Eligibility Requirements: Must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at the Denver Campus of Johnson & Wales University & have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
Club Dues (player fee): $200 for early registration in fall (August-November). $250 for late registration in winter/spring (December-April). Non-refundable.
Previous Experience: None. High school varsity or experience in position applying for preferred.
Commitment Expectancy: As a member of the JWU Denver Baseball team you are expected to make baseball a number one priority behind school and work. You will be expected to attend all practices unless you have notified a captain and have a viable excuse for missing practice.
Practice: Offseason practice will be held four times during the week. Two times a week in the mornings before 8 o'clock classes and two times a week at night after 6 o'clock classes, there will be 2 weekend practices on Friday and Saturday as well. Regular season practice will be held every morning before 8 o'clock classes and night after 6 o'clock classes during the week. Weekend practices will be determined based on games.
Equipment Needed: Glove and cleats. The team will provide all other gear. Players are welcome to buy their own bats, helmets, etc.
